Learn MoreThe two-toed sphinx moth on my throat was inspired by the multiple representations of the moth within tattoo culture - the mark/kiss of death, and transformation. I was born with Schmidt’s disease, and this has caused multiple predisposed endocrine diseases to arise throughout my lifetime. I was born sick, marked. I’ve since taken what life has given me, and used it as motivation to find my strengths physically through my health journey. Changing what could be- to what flourishes.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?It would say that I am colorful, fun, outgoing, eclectic, passionate and have different layers of depth within my life’s story. It would tell you that I have loved, lost, grown, and have collected some of the best memories along the way.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would invest into my business. I currently own a piercing studio within a tattoo shop. I’ve quickly gained popularity in my region, and I am now the top rated piercer in my town after only a short 1.5 years in business. I am looking to open a second location out west to live out my dream of being in a place where my body is no longer in pain from the heat and humidity of the south east. I also want to give my son the opportunity to roam and explore and be the wild child that he is!
