Acceptance of all parts of yourself; even the dark parts, the ugly parts. After experiencing the most difficult last 2 1/2 years of my life, I am learning I have to accept all that is me; and after experiencing a real life nightmare; I am not who I was. I am dealing with dark feelings, brought to the surface, for everyone to see all that is me. A bat becoming the start of my right arm sleeve; the common misperception that bats are ugly and scary. That and Batman is the shit.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?I am what I am. You are what you think I am. I will not hide this tornado meets a cross-fire hot mess of a creature. Perceptions are deceiving. Your eyes seeing only the surface. So much more within,than just a pretty face. But I will never let them know me. That is my tragedy. So they get to see my tattoos, experiencing short stories. This pretty face will fool you.
What would you do with the $25,000?Launch of non-profit youth organization, bringing arts programs, language of law, and other curricular geared at pursuing passions and interests for long term career goals to rural schools with limited funding and means. Program geared to understand your rights and when those rights are violated, as well as small emancipation community of tiny homes for students seeking emancipation prior to graduation.
