Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

It’s an original piece by my friend, who’s an apprentice tattoo artist. The design is a girl with tongues coming out of her eyes—each tongue has eyes on it—and a tongue coming from her mouth with eyes as well. It’s a surreal representation of overwhelming perception and expression. She created it based on our shared love for strange, thought-provoking art. It’s a symbol of speaking and seeing too much, and owning that intensity unapologetically.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

If my tattoos could speak, they would say I am a woman warrior—tough, brave, and unbreakable. Each piece of ink holds a story of strength, resilience, and survival. My tattoos would speak of battles fought, pain endured, and challenges faced with courage. They would declare that I am unapologetically myself—strong, determined, and unyielding. They would remind me of my journey, the growth I’ve experienced, and the power I carry to rise above, no matter the odds. I wear my truth

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won $25,000, I would first use the money to pay off any outstanding debt, giving myself a fresh start and reducing financial stress. Then, I would visit my family, ensuring I could spend quality time with them and create lasting memories. Being with my loved ones means so much, and having the financial freedom to do so would be incredibly fulfilling. I would also consider saving a portion for future goals or emergencies, ensuring long-term stability.
