Susan Acampora

The garbage pail kid tattoo is a homage to my mother. It’s a long, funny story behind it.

What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo was done at Baltimore tattoo convention, for my honorary grandson. I call him “jageun mandu”, which means little dumpling in Korean.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

All of my tattoos have a different meaning and are special in each way. My tattoos on my biceps represents my sons’, and how they are my strength. My Elvira tattoo on my shin represents the icon I looked up to, she was different, like me. My dandelion tattoo represents my best friend since high school…

What would you do with the $25,000?

Definitely get a few more tattoos; and use it for my dream trip to Africa to visit an elephant sanctuary.
