Learn MoreMy recent tattoo is a calla lily as a tribute to my grandmother‘s enduring presence in my life and a symbol that forever reminds me the power of a strong woman. I decided to get a tattoo of a calla lily, delicate, yet powerful, just like the memory of her. It reminds me of where I came from and who continues to walk with me in spirit. It’s a daily reminder of my grandmother’s grace and the love that surrounded me when I was a child. Every time I see it I feel her with me.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?If my tattoos could speak, they tell stories of love and loss. Birth flowers for my late brother, my maiden name in my dad‘s handwriting, a broken chain for healing generational trauma, my childhood bedtime prayer, Eye of Ra for protection, and a calla lily for my grandmother‘s grace. Each piece is a piece of who I am today.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I had $25,000 I would donate it to a non-profit organization, Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Oregon Chapter 29-2. It would have a meaningful impact on their lives beyond their service. The organization provides a brotherhood/sisterhood dedicated to supporting and advocating for combat Veterans who share a passion for motorcycles. Often Veterans struggle with PTSD after serving in the military, this donation would be a small way to help support crucial services. #22aday #Windtherapy
