It was inspired by a close family friend who passed—he had a spiderweb tattoo, and growing up, he was like a second dad to me. I got mine in memory of him, to carry his presence with me wherever I go. It’s more than a tribute—it’s a reminder of the love, protection, and guidance he gave me when I needed it most.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My ink would whisper truths I couldn’t always say out loud. It’d speak of quiet courage, of wild love, of battles fought behind closed doors. It would say I am layered—tender, fierce, grieving, glowing—and not afraid to take up space.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’d invest in my future as a nurse, pay off school, and create space to breathe. I’d also get tattoo work I’ve been dreaming of—full sleeves and a back piece that tells the rest of my story. The money would fuel both my passion and my purpose.
