First tattoo was at 14 then I started tattooing myself at 26 after rehab in 2023 and decided I was gonna tattoo my face and sides of my head recently. Now I’m trying to finish it. With my mom and grandmas name with butterflies. My last name means butterfly so it’s a huge part of my art on my skin. I tattoo myself to stay away from self harm. My recovery to finding myself and who I want to be. It makes me feel confident and helps me love my evolution just like a butterfly.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?She’s been through a lot and doesn’t give up even when she wants too. She has a lot of pain inside that keeps her from feeling the outside. She’s trying to elevate and evolve. I am my self expression for my art and I am my canvas. I dont have any desire to be normal I want to break the barriers of black woman and tattoos.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would fully dive into my tattoo business and my art. Get a studio and finally live my dream !! Set my kids up financially and give back to my people around me. Create workshops and art activities for children and teens. Make a non profit, hoodie line. A book, anything to get my story and my vision of my art out. To help build and give kids someone to look up to and know YOUR ENOUGH no matter how you look
