What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo is a representation of my growth and transformation in the last decade of my life. I moved to Chicago 10 years ago and this city has shown me so much. It made me feel big, broke me down, built me back up and gave me a new lease on life. It gave me my family and as I close this book on Chicago, I’m looking forward to starting a sequel in a new city with my partner, daughter and two senior dogs.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

My first tattoo was a go big or go home situation. Full left foot and up ankle, I was 18 and still in high school when I got it and my mom wouldn’t speak to me for ages. I “ruined my beautiful feet” (lol). The tattoo is American traditional with a 2000s scene girl flare, a lace trimmed heart with a diamond in the middle to note “diamonds are a girls best friend” and in the center of my heart is my best friend. I’m a sap. We’ve been best friends for 27 ye

What would you do with the $25,000?

We just recently bought a 120 year old former apple farm in Michigan and being an interior designer I would throw every cent into making that house our forever retreat home. It sits on 1.37 acres and backs up to a little pond. Harriet the spy the movie, Rosie takes them to some magical hippie garden. That’s me. That’s what I want to replicate for my kid and for all of our inner kids, what’s better than a a home you can call all your own?
