My most recent tattoo, i did myself. it’s two traditional birds, underneath it says “love you, nano neff” in my grandmothers hand writing. birds were her favorite and she had a bunch of parakeets when i was growing up !
If your ink could speak, what would it say?If my tattoos could speak, they would tell a story of survival, resilience, and transformation. They would whisper about the battles I’ve faced with depression and the struggles I’ve had with self-harm — times when pain felt like the only way to cope. But instead of continuing down that destructive path, I found a way to turn my pain into something beautiful. Getting tattooed became a healthier outlet for the emotions I couldn’t always put into words.
