While I did not grow up in Puerto Rico, my family there has done a lot for me and means a lot to me. I wanted a piece of art to represent the island and show others that it is a part of me, regardless of what they may see on the outside.

What would you do with the $25,000?I would turn my half sleeve into a full sleeve to get more representation of the points mentioned previously. If allowed, I would also use some of it for my fiancée to get her first tattoo as well. We have discussed getting tattoos together on our one-year wedding anniversary. Anything extra I would put into a second sleeve to represent my childhood of moving from house to house, likely expressing the sentiment "A house is not a home".
