Everyone's ink is unique in that it tells the story of their lives, their triumphs, their losses, & loves. Mine speaks the same to me.

Enter For FreeProtection. It's a gargoyle, but unfinished due to divorce and lack of funds....long story. I was still working through trauma from childhood and the marriage I was currently in and knew that gargoyles were often used as guardians. It seemed perfect for me. At the time the current husband WAS paying for my tattoo. When we separated that stopped of course, hence the lack of funds to finish my wonderful gargoyle.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?It would say many things. Here is a woman who needed protection, is soft but can bite when needed. Most of the time it only speaks to me as it's hard to explain what I felt at the moment I picked out that specific tattoo. Two of them are my divorce tattoos, one says Love Kills Slowly & the other Love Is A Gamble lol. They say a lot about specific times in my life and I guess if anyone asked I'd try to explain the emotion behind them.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would love to get my gargoyle finished but understand that a lot of artists don't like to finish another artists work. Having said that, I'd love to get a tattoo that symbolizes my journey from the abused little girl to the strong, independent woman I've become. I don't want the traditional phoenix, everyone does that. I'd like to work with someone to listen to my story and design something unique to me
