Learn MoreInspiration was to keep my husband memorialized. He loved being on a boat. It was a traumatic experience for my 2 kids that were 12 and 13 at the time and the compasses are for them to stay on the right path, the knot was for his soul and mine to stay tied together forever. The anchor is to keep us all grounded and not lose our shit. He was truly a bright light in our lives. Hence the lighthouse. The octopus is for me trying to keep everything together. If your ink could speak, what would it say?Great love never dies even after loss. I also think of the ocean as being such a powerful source and I'm a strong woman that never gives up.
What would you do with the $25,000?Cover the rest of my body in art...lol. I mean thats what I'd do. There's endless possibilities. Boring thing would be to pay bills. Maybe a vacation somewhere amazing. No one is guaranteed time, so it would be something amazing for my kids.
