Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

I was inspired by the weight of purpose and the path I’ve chosen—to lead, uplift, and build something greater than myself. This tattoo reflects sacrifice, endurance, and grace under pressure. It’s a reminder that pain has meaning and legacy is built through perseverance. As I expand ventures across Africa and provide for my family, it grounds me in humility and reminds me of the strength behind the mission.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

If my ink could speak, it would say: ‘You’ve survived what others couldn’t. Now build what others won’t. Lead with love, walk with strength, and never forget who you are or where you’re going.’ It would remind me that purpose is heavier than pain, and that my path—no matter how unconventional—from Chicago to Senegal—is part of a greater design rooted in vision, sacrifice, and legacy.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I’d use the $25,000 to disrupt how the world experiences Africa—starting with Médi in Senegal. It’s not just a hotel, it’s a blueprint: hospitality, electric mobility, cultural cuisine, and creative space all under one roof. This is my startup of soul and scale—built to elevate lives, spark jobs, and reimagine luxury on African terms. With this funding, I bring the vision from ink to industry.
