Learn MoreThe ink on the back of my neck, the mitsudomoe symbol. Started in Shintoism and was used on Taiko drums. I have studied wadaiko for 5 years and it has greatly inspired me. The fue (flute) brought Japan to me. I felt the feeling on Japan flow though my teacher. The drums woke my soul and I could no longer be in the audience! I had to be part of it. I joined the local group the very next week! It is a part of my forever now, even when there are times when it is more quiet and I don't practice.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?Respect for learning and understanding other cultures. Immersing yourself in them, in a way becoming them. That and a balance of your body, mind and spirit. With an interconnectedness to them all. And your connection to this world and all the living things within it.
What would you do with the $25,000?To start a healing center with dance, reiki, yoga and sound therapy.
