Enter For FreeThis tattoo is more than ink. It’s my story. The cardinal represents my uncle—gone too soon by suicide, but never truly gone. His signature from my high school graduation card is now etched into my skin, a reminder of his pride in me… and the love that still lingers. The suicide prevention ribbon and semicolon represent both his battle and mine.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?I’ve carried the weight of mental illness for most of my adult life. I’ve walked through addictions, perfectionism, people-pleasing trying to numb pain to be enough to be seen. But I chose to keep going. I chose to rewrite my story. This tattoo marks survival. It marks healing. It marks a promise: that I will keep showing up, keep speaking up, keep being my true self no matter how hard it gets. For me. For him. For anyone else still fighting in silence.
What would you do with the $25,000?The STILL M.I.N.D. Project exists to break the silence around mental illness, addiction, and suicide through education, empowerment, and everyday moments of joy. Using storytelling, support, and creative outreach, we aim to light up the dark and help individuals rewrite their story. What $25,000 Will Fund: 1. COMMUNITY LAUNCH & OUTREACH 2. PROGRAM CREATION & WORKSHOPS 3. MERCHANDISE FOR FUNDING & AWARENESS 4. STORYTELLING & VISIBILITY 5. KINDNESS & EMERGENCY SUPPORT FUND
