What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My latest tattoo is a couples concept my wife and I share—each of us with one owl, symbols of our unity, wisdom, and quiet strength. Though our designs differ, they speak the same truth. I added the Adinkra symbol “Nkyinkyim” to reflect how I move through life—with resilience, purpose, and love. To me, it flows like the word “love” written in one continuous stroke. Most will see love, but for me, it’s a deeper symbol of how I navigate life.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

If my ink could speak, it would tell a story of resilience, love, and my personal journey. It would speak of unity with my family, my heritage, and the bond I share with my wife. It would echo the wisdom of the owls, the twists of life’s path, and the strength I’ve found to navigate it. It would remind me of the meaning woven into each symbol, of the love that flows silently but deeply, and how each tattoo is not just art, but a reflection of the life I live and the love I give.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, I’d start a savings fund for my twins, who are due in June, giving them a solid foundation for their future. I’d also invest in growing Pito’s Pantry, my food business, so I can focus on my art and bring my food and culture to the community. I want my kids to grow up watching me live my dream, not stuck in corporate America. I believe I can support my family by doing what I love—sharing my passion with others while building a life filled with true joy.
