Learn MoreWell, the last one was blacking out a name.. But the most recent substantial tattoo was the snow leopard on my leg by Timothy Hoyer, the legend, maybe in 2012. I love it. Big cats are my favorite and Timothy‘s work is loose and beautiful but bold and feels really intense but sincere to me.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?It definitely tells my history and loves and losses and passions and impulsive decisions, but it is also reflective of a spectrum of talent— from stick-and-pokes from friends, to single needle, to fat mags, to tebori. Most every artist had free rein in their own style with just my subject matter in mind, and sometimes it was their own idea. I have almost no regrets, but I have a tattoo to cover that, too.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’m a single mom with two kiddos and it would give us some incredibly appreciated stability and the opportunity to grow.
