What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My dad. The day he passed we went back to my brothers house. A cardinal came and sat on a perch just outside the window. My sister in law and I looked at each other and said…”Hey pops”. Then a few days later I was picking out his urn and a cardinal kept flying into and pecking at the window in the same spot. The office lady was shocked she’s never had that happen before. The sample urns were sitting on the sill. Dad picked out the one he wanted then sat in the tree. Then

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

It says... “stay strong hunnie…I’m with you every step of the way. You’re my baby girl and a forever Lawrence…you can handle anything.” My dad’s dementia took everything except me… everyday when I walked into the room he would smile and say “ Oh hi hunnie… I didn’t know you were coming to up to visit” …. I miss him terribly.

What would you do with the $25,000?

First and foremost… I would take him and my step moms ashes back home to northern NY and release them together in what was once our back yard.. the St Lawrence River. Then I’d build a garage/shop like he had when I was growing up. He worked on old cars and I “helped”…. I’d like to find someone to build me a metal windseeker cardinal for my garden as well….
