Asymmetry has always been a significant source of inspiration in my life, art, and especially tattoos. The Love Leopard and Tex Avery-styled skull pairing represents not only the beauty of an uncommon relationship but also the uniqueness of nature. To be edgy, organic, free-flowing, and anything but mainstream is the goal when asymmetry is why life itself exists. Look outside, walk through a garden, swim in the oceans, feed the butterflies, hold a hand, and you will (hopefully) understand.

My tattoos are a direct collaboration with the artists and their work. With that being said, I would like to think that my ink speaks for itself, as well as their dedication to this creative outlet that has been around for generations. Art has an interesting way of connecting with its viewers; some will love it, and some will hate it. All are valid. By adding their art to my body, we strive to convey the benefits of self-expression, love for self, identity, and creativity.

As a visual artist and advocate for womyn, I would be ecstatic to receive and utilize these funds to help advance my creative practice and fulfill a lifelong dream of opening a womyn focused studio, made available to anyone in need of a creative outlet. I strongly believe that artistic expression and collaboration are key to thriving in life, bringing innovation, efficiency, delight, and exposure that you simply cannot achieve when working by oneself. I look forward to expanding this community.
