My most recent tattoo is in Latin—si vis pacem, para bellum—which means, ‘If you want peace, prepare for war.’ I first heard it in the Punisher movie with Thomas Jane, and it stuck with me. Lately, I’ve been facing a wave of personal and family struggles. It’s felt like a war just trying to find peace. I got the tattoo as a reminder that sometimes, to truly find peace, you have to be willing to fight through the chaos.

They’d show you my years of dedication to martial arts and my love for Japanese culture through the ink inspired by it. They’d also reveal something less obvious: I’m quiet by nature, but if pushed too far, there’s a side of me most wouldn’t expect.
